As a word, the platform ladder doesn’t make much sense to you, but I guess you can assume their names are very useful. If you ask me, it’s very easy to use them regularly; And very safe.

Many people don’t even notice it because a ladder is a normal thing, and many, however, unfortunately, regret it. Some have long been designed to make the ladder more secure, but nothing can guarantee your safety. You need to take care of yourself. There are several things to consider before setting foot on the ladder. It should not be too far from the wall it is leaning on because it can easily happen that they lose balance. But it shouldn’t be too close, or if you can push yourself back and forth with them. But of course, even with all of that, it can easily happen that you will not come for no apparent reason. When using ladders, it is important to understand the reasons for working on height rules. Working in the Height Irrigation Rules, which came into force in 2005, presents a clear message – if you must use a ladder, use the right ladder safely.

Created by the labour Association, the Working at Right Regulations document was created to help people understand how the new law affects the use of ladder – in a collaborative effort between the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Department of Business and Industry. DTI) and the British Standards Institute (BSI).

Here are some legal documents that aim to control the use of portable platform ladder in the industry:

  • Health and safety management in the 1999 work rules
  • Use of provisions and rules of operating equipment (PUWER) 1998
  • Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Rules 1996 (CHSWR)
  • Manual Handling Regulations 1992
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulations 1992
  • Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Rules 1992
  • Health and Work Safety etc. Act of 1974

The purpose of working in high regulation legislation is to stop people working at high altitudes wherever possible. All employees and employers use a ladder or a working platform, the rules say, to ensure that the correct equipment is properly selected and used safely.

Although the requirements contained in the new law were already described in the existing laws relating to the construction industry, they apply to all sectors of the economy. There are legal obligations on employers, self-employed and employees.

Employers and self-employed are particularly responsible for reducing or minimizing the risk of working in an irrigation and alt equipment, as well as selecting appropriate equipment to work with.
